Day 01: Arrive Delhi

Arrive Delhi, transfer to hotel for few hours.

Day 02: Flight Delhi – Leh

Early morning transfer to domestic Airport to catch flight for Leh. Arrive Leh, transfer to hotel. Day is free to acclimatize you with the altitude of Ladakh. Evening, explore Leh Market. Overnight at hotel in Leh.(3500m)

Day 03: Drive Leh - Stok – Matho – Samkar – Shanti Stupa

After breakfast, drive to Stok (14km) by crossing a bridge over Indus river, Indus at Choglamsar village. In Stok, visit the royal palace, constructed by the king Tsespal Tondup Namgyal in 1825AD. Inside the palace, you will see great collection of ancient royal ornaments, Thankas (scroll paintings) and old statues. After the visit, drive to Matho village, 10 km from Stok. This monastery was built by Lama Tungpa Dorje in 13th century. Two famous oracles (known as Rongtsan), (who were invited from Tibet by the founder of this monastery) still makes appearance during the festival of monastery. After visiting Matho, drive back to Leh. Post Lunch, visit exquisite Shanti Stupa and Samkar Monastery in Leh. You will enjoy the spectacular view of Indus valley with its surrounding magnificent mountains of mighty Himalaya. Overnight at hotel in Leh.

Days 04: Drive Leh – Thiksey – Hemis – Chemde - Leh

After breakfast, drive to Hemis monastery (45 km) 90 minute drives. The great Mahasiddha Staktsang Raspa along with 35th King Singey Namgyal built this biggest monastery in 17th century. After visiting this monastery, drive to Chemde. Visit the picturesque monastery built on hill top with awe inspiring view of the surrounding wonderful landscape, by Lama Stagtsang Raspa in 17th century. This monastery is also same sect as Hemis monastery. After the visit, drive back to Thiksey. Visit Thiksey monastery, is the oldest monastery of Gelugpa School in Ladakh. The great Lama Paldan Shesrap built in 14th century. Enjoy the spectacular view of Indus valley from the roof of monastery. Visit this most beautiful monastery and statue of the Future Buddha. After visiting this monastery return back to Leh via Shey (Ancient capital of Ladakh). Visit the Shey Palace and temple. Inside the temple, you visit big copper gilt statue of Lord Buddha, built in 1633AD. Overnight at hotel in Leh.

Day 05: Drive Likir - Alchi – Ulleytokpo (72 km)

Morning after breakfast, drive to Ulleytokpo. En-route visit Likir and Alchi monastery. Today you drive on Leh-Srinagar highway. On the way, you travel through spectacular and magnificent view of landscape and its beautiful mountains, sometime imposing gorge and you pass across Magnetic hill, confluence of Indus and Zanskar before Nimoo village; beautiful and charming villages of Ladakh. After Basgo, winding highway scenic for few meters and then open barren terrain till Likir village. Leave highway towards the right and continue drive about more than 2 km up till Likir monastery. Visit Likir exquisite Gelugpa sect monastery built on hill top with awe inspiring view of the valley, by Lhachen Gyalpo in 1065AD.
You visit also Big Statue of Maitreya Buddha (Future Buddha) beside the monastery. After the visit, continue drive to Alchi village (8 km). After Saspol village, you cross Indus River over a bridge on left and follow the road that leads to Alchi. Visit the 1000 years Gelugpa sect monastery. Later drive further 7 km to Ulleytokpo for overnight stay. Overnight at Ulley resort above Indus River. (3300m)

Day 06: Drive Ulleytokpo – Rizong – Lamayuru – Ulleytokpo (55 km)

Post breakfast, drive to Lamayuru via you visit Rizong monastery. Drive 1km from resort then take right hand side road at Gyera and enter into the stunning gorge. Continue drive up as far as Chulichan where you will find Nunnery with small temple. Further 3km drive takes you to Rizong monastery that picturesquely built on hill top with imposing view of surrounding wonderful mountains by Lama Tsultim Nima 150 years ago. This exquisite monastery is located in very isolated place in the middle of huge towering mountains. After the visit drive back to Gyera then continue drive onward to Mulbek. Halt at Lamayuru to visit the beautiful Digung sect monastery, founded on hill top dominating the valley, by Lama Nyimagung. History says that great Mahasiddha Naropa visited this place and the sacred cave where he resided and meditated still to be seen inside the principle temple. After the visit, drive back to Ulleytokpo. Overnight at Ulley resort.

Day 07: Drive Ulleytokpo – Basgo - Leh (72 km)

Post breakfast; drive Ulleytokpo to Leh via visiting Basgo Castle. The complex of Castle includes a ruined fortress dating from before the 15th century, two large temples and a small shrine. Presently, one monk from the Hemis gompa is the caretaker at the temple.
The best preserved temple which situated at the highest point is the Chamba Lha-khang or Maitreya temple (Chamba is the Ladhaki word for Maitreya, the Future Buddha). It was built in the mid-16th century by Tshe-wang Namgyal, of the Namgyal dynasty who ruled Ladakh. With the exception of Alchi this temple has the oldest original wall murals in Ladakh, dating from the 16th century. Entering the Chamba Lha-khang temple, over the entrance you see a portrait of Vajrapani (meaning "vajra-in-hand", for Vajrapani is always shown holding a vajra).
There are groups of miniature paintings that reflect the royal dress of Kashmir and the Mughals in the 16th century, as this wall mural is original to that time.
The Serzang temple (Serzang translates as "Gold and Silver") located next to the royal quarters is in a somewhat neglected state. Its name refers to a Buddhist canon manuscript, partially written in gold, silver and copper letters, which are commissioned by Senge Namgyal, a 17th century Ladakhi king. Another small shrine is located off a courtyard one level below the Serzang temple. This shrine was built in 1642 and dedicated by a wife of Senge Namgyal, a Balti princess named Zeze Khatunee, whose Muslim background caused the Buddhist monks in Ladakh to declare her an incarnation of Tara. This shrine contains a large image of Maitreya (the Future Buddha or Buddha of Compassion) while the wall murals depict various guardian divinities. After the visit continue drive to Leh, still 40 km. Arrive Leh by afternoon. Post Lunch enjoy hike around Leh market. Overnight at hotel.

Day 08: Drive Leh – Khardong-la (6400m) – Nubra (110 kms)

Nubra (Ldumra) means valley of flowers. The most attranctive landscape of Nubra valley is its sand dunes. According to History; Nubra was one of the branches of Ancient Silk route. The traders used to pass through this beautiful Nubra valley.
Morning after breakfast, drive to Nubra, 105 km from Leh and it takes about 4-5 hrs drive, by crossing Khardong-la (The highest motorable road in the world 5400m). On the way, you have amazing panoramic view of Indus valley, Shayok River, wonderful and breathtaking view of mountains of Himalayan range and on the other side of Khardong-la, the mountains Karakoram Range. Arrive at Tirith, have some refreshment at Camp. After then drive 10km to visit Samstanling monastery that was built by Lama Tsultim Nima 140 years ago and surrounding villages. Overnight at Fixed Camp. (3300m)

Day 09: Drive Tirith – Deskit – Hunder – Tirith (45 km)

Morning after breakfast drive to Deskit and visit the picturesque monastery , built on hill top in 1820 by Lama Paldan Sherap, It's a branch of Thiksey monastery and there reside about 80 monks. Just below the monastery you, visit recently built big statue (100ft) of Maitreya Buddha. This statue was inaugurated by H.H. 14th Dalai Lama on 26 July 2010. After Diskit, continue drive to Hunder where you find attractive Sand dunes and you enjoy the double humped camel riding for an hour. After enjoying the camel riding, drive back to Tirith. Overnight at Fix Camp. (3400m)

Day 10: Drive Nubra – Leh (110 kms)

Morning after breakfast, drive back to Leh. Arrive Leh by afternoon. Post Lunch free to explore Leh market.

Day 11: Leh

Day is free to experience the Ladakhi culture by visiting Women alliance and local house where they will be very happy to serve you Chang (local beer) and Butter tea. Overnight at hotel in Leh.

Day 12: Flight Delhi – Leh

Early morning transfer to Airport to catch flight for Delhi. Arrive Delhi, transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel in Delhi.

Day 13: Delhi

You have full day sightseeing in Delhi. Late evening transfer International Airport to catch flight for your country.

Day 14: Departure / Arrive in your Home Country.

Day 01: Flight Leh – Delhi then drive to Agra (200 km)

Early morning transfer to Leh airport to catch flight for Delhi. Arrive Delhi then drive to Agra. Arrive Agra by afternoon. Post Lunch free to explore Agra. Overnight at hotel. Agra: One of the great Mughal cities of South Asia, with minor interruptions. Agra alternated with Delhi as the capital of their empire. Little is known about it before the Muslim conquest. Agra stands on the right bank of the river Yamuna, site of Love's most splendid monument, the Taj Mahal. Agra was founded by the first Aryan settlers, and named "Arya Graha" which with time was shortened to Agra.

The Taj Mahal: The state of the Taj declined with the fortunes of the Mughal Empire, the garden becoming overgrown. The architectural masterpiece was built in 1630 by Shah Jahan, in memory of his favorite wife and adviser, Mumtaz Mahal (crown of the palace) 20,000 workers and artists, some coming from Europe and Persia, spent 22 years working on this monuments of love wrought in sandstone, marble and semi-precious jewels.

Agra Fort: On the West Bank of the Yanuna River, Akbar's magnificent fort dominates the center of the city. The son of Sher Shah originally used the site, but the present structure owes its origins to Akbar who erected the wall and gates and the first building inside.

Day 02: Drive Agra – Delhi then Departure

Post breakfast drive Agra to Delhi. Arrive Delhi. Visit Old and New Delhi. Late evening transfer to International Airport to catch flight for your home country.
